The X Desktop

The default windowing system on this LiveDVD is fluxbox. iDesk allows you to click on the installer to begin installing DragonFlyBSD on your system, read the accompanying release documentation, and start a terminal. As of now, gnome-settings-daemon is not installed, so unfortunately the gtk themes won't be as pretty as they could. To see what applications are available look at our list of software.

Special Keys

Ctrl + Enter -> open terminal

Alt + F1 -> switch to workspace 1
Alt + F2 -> switch to workspace 2
Alt + F3 -> switch to workspace 3
Alt + F4 -> switch to workspace 3
